Our aim is to work towards a lifetime of good oral health, which is why we feel it is important to keep you fully informed about your own dental health and the options you have in looking after it.

We have worked hard at building a relaxed friendly atmosphere and we pride ourselves on helping you feel comfortable every time you visit us.

New Patients

Your first appointment will be for an initial examination. Prior to the appointment, you will be asked to complete a medical history questionnaire. At this appointment you will meet your dental surgeon and nurse, after assessing any concerns, a thorough check of your TMJ (jaw joint), oral cancer screening, teeth and gums will be completed. Any necessary radiographs will be taken using digital xrays. Your dental surgeon will then explain his/her findings and discuss and highlight any problem areas. At this point they will also discuss all options for any treatment required and answer any questions. An individual treatment plan will be printed for you and should there be any changes during the course of treatment this will be amended for you. All our dental surgeons are happy to take any phone calls should you have any further questions regarding your treatment.

Younger Patients

We are a family friendly practice and we encourage all parents to bring their children at any early age to help familiarise themselves with the practice and its surroundings. This is essential in building up their confidence.

Nervous Patients

We welcome all patients. If you are feeling nervous, maybe it has been sometime since you last visited a dentist; please feel free to call us so that we can help you make that first step. Our entire team are experienced in dealing with nervous patients. Alessandra is known for her understanding manner in helping you arrange your first appointment. The clinical team will take a gentle approach in all aspects of the treatment needed. We have found that music and audio books can provide a welcome distraction and are happy for you to listen to what is on offer or your own selection. Our aim is to help you build up your confidence so that you eventually enjoying coming to visit us. There is always the option of being referred for IV sedation should you wish and we can happily guide you through this process.

Our aim is to help build up your confidence.
